Mr. Were is a statistician and data analyst with vast experience in Conducting health and market surveys, opinion polls, Biostatistics, health economics and economic, evaluations, complex statistical analysis, modeling disease outcomes, sample size calculations and methods, Data Management, development of electronic data capture systems, developments of protocol and manuscripts, Grant Writing, epidemiology, monitoring and evaluation, health Policy and Systems Research Analysis.
He has a PhD in Health Economics from the University of Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine-United Kingdom. He has studied mathematical modeling for the Epidemiology and Control of Infectious diseases from Imperial College United Kingdom, Biostatistics and Epidemiology, Harvard University School of Public health, USA: , Masters of Science (Community Health and Development), Great Lakes University, Kenya: Bachelor of Science (Mathematics and Statistics), University of Nairobi, Kenya and Post Graduate Diploma- Computer Programming:
He is well vast and experienced with Visual Studio, SQL server 2005, Visual CE and C++, Stata, SAS, SPSS, Other skills: EPI info, CSPro, Matlab, eVIEWs, Ms Access, My SQL, ODK for mobile app, QGIS, Arview, NVIVO for qualitative data analysis.
Previously he worked as Senior Data Analyst at International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), Data Analyst/ Statistician - Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) and as a Bio-statistician with -African Population and Health Research Centre (APHRC)
Vincent is currently Senior Data analysis at KEMRI/CDC Kisumu and is a member of the KEMRI scientific and Ethics Review Unit (SERU) and expert in Research Methods as well as a Principal Investigator in many ongoing projects.
Mr. Were has provided Consultancies and technical support for about 30 PhD students and 86 Master Level students, locally and globally. He is also a part time Lecturer in Biostatistics, Computing and Research methods, Health policy and Health Economics at Great Lakes University of Kisumu, University of Nairobi, Maseno University- eCampus.
Vincent has co-authored 15 publications in peer reviewed journals and is also a member of Technical working group for Ministry of Health. He has worked for KEMRI and CDC as a Statistician and Health Economist for 9 years.

Mr. Michael Ochieng
Mr. Ochieng is the Managing Director and Consultant in Research, Training and Evaluation. He is a Monitoring and Evaluation specialist with vast experience in the field of Project Planning, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation.
He has over eight years experience in the field of Project Design, Planning,
Monitoring and Evaluation in developmentand humanitarian organizations and has
previously worked at USAID-AMPATH, African Development and Emergency Organization
(ADEO), the KenyaRed Cross Society and the International Rescue Committee. He has
participated in many development programmes in the communities and has been an ardent champion
of Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), methodology. Mr. Ochieng is the founder of
DATAPATH - a leading multi-million Investment Society operating in the North Rift. He is
an expert in Organizational Capacity Assessment,Strategic Planning, Research Methods and Grant
writing.
Mr. Ochieng has been a lead trainer in Results Based Project Management,
Monitoring and Evaluation and Data Quality.
He also serves as the Managing Director of
AMREC TRAINING INSTITUTE, a Professional Training Institute with its main campus in Lodwar -
Turkana County.
He has attended many other trainings including Community managed Disaster Risk Reduction,
HIV & AIDs Management, Health Informatics, Strategic Management, Program Quality Improvement etc.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Project Planning and Management and a Master's Degree
in Monitoring and Evaluation. He is also a holder of Diploma in Coputer Science and has attended
