Welcome to Amrec
Adaptive Model for Research and Empowerment in Communities (AMREC) was registered in Kenya as a non-profit organization in the year 2022. However, AMREC previously existed as a private company from the year 2015 and has been offering mentorship to university graduates in the area of research and undertaking many community empowerment activities including HIV/AIDS Mitigation, Covid-19 Mitigation, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Mental Health Awareness and Gender Based Violence mitigation.
AMREC Aims at contribution to the empowerment of communities through the implementation of research driven interviews. We believe in implementation of high impact evidence-based interventions that are key in transforming lives and livelihoods.
We work in 5 counties in Kenya namely Turkana, Isiolo, Kisumu, Homabay, Siaya, Nairobi and Uasin Gishu. The organization is led by a Board of Trustees comprising of persons of great repute and integrity who drive the policy and strategy of the organization.

They are also experienced in managing and analyzing large amounts of data, conducting data analysis, and participating in ongoing research and data collection for any research projects
For Quantitative data, we use a variety of statistical packages (e.g., SAS, SPSS, STATA, Epi Info, R, GENSTAT etc.) and ensure we have the best that suits your dataset. Our team of statisticians have experience in conducting univariate, bivariate, multivariate regression models. We also conduct mathematical modelling.
For Qualitative data our staff are experienced in transcription, translations, content and thematic analysis. We use softwares such as Express Transcribe Transcription Software, NVIVO, ATLAS.TI, Nudist etc. We provide technical support in Methods and interpretation of data analysis and report writing.
